X HELPING HANDS
Welcome to "X Helping Hands," a community-focused platform (supported through St. Francis Xavier University, Antigonish, NS) that provides information and resources to support incoming international and domestic students at St. Francis Xavier University (StFX), through sharing the experiences of Xaverians and community members of the Town of Antigonish.

We invite newcomers, including international students at StFX, migrants, and refugees in Antigonish, to share their experiences with housing, budgeting, finding part-time work, culture shock, homesickness, food security, academics, mental and physical health, and food insecurity. We also welcome stories from community members on how they have been helping newcomers make Antigonish their "home away from home."

Stories would be shared through interviews, written or verbal conversations, and videography. We also respect your choice if you would want to post anonymously. We would love to hear from you.
