On October 17, 2025, X Helping Hands in collaboration with Creative Pictou County hosted a vibrant Henna for Diwali event at the Creative Pictou County Studio in Pictou. The free drop-in session welcomed community members to celebrate the Festival of Lights through the art of mehndi. Attendees enjoyed intricate henna designs while learning about the cultural traditions behind Diwali, sharing conversations, and connecting with one another.
