About the Event
On September 20th, 2025, X Helping Hands hosted a vibrant Free Henna Designs event at the Antigonish Art After Dark festival on Main Street. The event was organized by Tavneet in collaboration with Antigonight 2025, with community member Pooja Sharma contributing by providing henna for participants.
Community members gathered to enjoy the art of traditional henna while listening to music and sharing laughter. The street was filled with creativity, excitement, and conversation as participants received beautiful henna patterns on their hands.
It was not just about the designs but also about the connections made through culture and fun. Afterward, everyone mingled, shared snacks and drinks, and left with smiles and unique designs to carry home.
